Colors Heal My Black Soul Art Journal Page

Hello everyone,

Here is the latest spread in my art journal.

I work in an old book and usually glue three of its pages together. Then I put some white gesso and the pages are ready to work with.

This time I glued a really colorful floral napkin and drew a flower with black marker. I shaded the flower with water-soluble pencils and soft pastels. 

For the background I used texture paste with home-made stencils and watercolor paints, then I stamped some texts and butterflies. 

In the corner I laid black acrylic paint over oil pastels and then I wrote with old, not-working pen.

I also doodled some foliage around the edges and added splatters of white acrylic paint with water.
